General Guidelines

  • Notify your referring physician and MDR if there is any chance you might be pregnant or are currently breastfeeding. If there is a chance you might be pregnant, please have a pregnancy test before scheduling an appointment.
  • Discuss any special needs with us in advance, such as dietary or physical limitations, diabetes, or allergies to intravenous contrast and other medications.
  • In some instances, you may need to make arrangements for transportation from a friend or family member immediately after your study is complete.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to your actual appointment time to complete your registration materials.
  • Wear comfortable, metal-free clothing and be prepared to change into a patient gown if necessary.
  • Bring any pertinent prior x-rays or scans with you.
  • Bring your prescription or referral form at the time of study.
  • Bring your insurance card.
