Physician Staff
What is a Radiologist?
A radiologist is a medical doctor specially trained to interpret imaging studies and perform a variety of procedures in order to diagnose your particular condition. Radiologists supply your referring physician with the information he or
she needs to provide you with the appropriate care and treatment plan.
At Manhattan Diagnostic Radiology, each radiologist is recognized as a specialist in one or more particular facets of radiology. Each is certified by The American Board of Radiology, and all have advanced fellowship training in one or more specialties in radiology. Because of their individual and collective experience, the physicians of MDR can assure that your imaging study is performed in an appropriate and thorough manner, and that the interpretation is the most accurate and definitive possible.
