Jeffrey Girshman, M.D.

Dr. Girshman joined the practice in 2006. A graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, he received his Medical Degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed his radiology residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City where he won the Radiology Society of North America Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award in 2004. He went on to complete a fellowship program in abdominal imaging and intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where he gained further expertise in CT, MRI, and Ultrasound with a special focus on gastrointestinal and genitourinary diseases. He also received training in radiofrequency and cryoablation procedures for the treatment of tumors, as well as other cross-sectional interventional radiology techniques.

Dr. Girshman is certified by the American Board of Radiology (2005) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (2004). He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the European Society of Radiology and the American College of Radiology.
